Dimmer Module Indicators

LED ON GREEN :   The dimmer is on at some level for this channel. The green   element in this led dims up and down  proportionally with   the dimmer control level. Note that the dimmer may be  locally   forced to full by pressing the black latching test   switches to the right of each dimmer channel led indicator.
LED OFF : The control to this dimmer is off. The dimmer is off.
LED YELLOW : This dimmer module is in Overtemp Warning. The dimmer  is on at some level for this channel.
LED RED : This dimmer module is either in Overtemp Shutdown with   the dimmer forced off, or dimmer module is in Overtemp  Warning with the dimmer control level at 0%.
The Overtemp Warning  or Overtemp Shutdown condition would only occur if:
A.   The rack is not fully populated -- with either dimmer   modules and / or airflow modules.
B. The air filters in the door are clogged with dirt / dust.
C. The rack fan is not operating.
D.  The dimmer rack is operating beyond it's maximum ambient operating temperature specification.

IIn the unlikely event that a rack encounters an overtemp condition, is strongly recommended that users minimize rack use, and call technical services at (503) 404-5500 8am-5pm PST if they are unable to isolate and rectify the cause of this potentially equipment damaging condition.
